Haiku Sequence: Berry Fields

Dreams of berry fields:
when I awoke discovered
berry purpled hands.

You walked the morning,

while I wandered the forests
of the written word.

Small talk at dinner;

large conversations with stars

later on the porch.

For desert, berries

you had gathered from the fields -

your hands without stains.
